Someone To Understand

 Heart attack, stroke, cancer, or even just a bad ankle sprain; will get you

attention and sympathy from all.

But be sure you never let them know, if from grace you fall.

For the self-righteous have no mercy on the week.

And to a poor lost sinner, some won't even speak.

They never see the pain inside you and me.

With a smirk they proudly proclaim; "just have faith and in time you will see."

"All your dreams and hopes you must name."

Oh for someone to really care: not judge my heart, and my sorrow share.

Someone to understand when I can't stand.

Yes, someone to reach out a helping hand.

Who am I kidding? The truth is clear!

When life is sweet and all is well they are all near.

Then sickness and trouble visits and you feel the jar.

Brace yourself! For thier betrayal is the worst hurt you will ever feel by far!
